At a conference in Vienna, 12 partners from eight European countries brought to a conclusion a four-year international project that was launched with the aim of searching for solutions to balance the electricity system in a changing electricity environment. GEN-I’s development team participated in the project, which was coordinated by the Slovenian company ELES.

GEN-I and GEN-I Sonce with other consortium partners of the NEWCOMERS project share a common vision at the kick-off meeting in Ljubljana. The NEWCOMERS kick-off meeting took place in Ljubljana last week. During the meeting, whose proud partners are also GEN-I and GEN-I Sonce, all 8 consortium partners from 6 EU countries (NL, UK, SE, SI, IT, DE) engaged in discussions on various work packages and related tasks of the project, with the aim of creating a common understanding of the work to be done in each work package, as well as the goals to be achieved in the project.
